I created this recipe around the time for the Super Bowl, but it’s good to watch any game or just when you feel like having some friends over.

Pasión wings


1 tablespoon neutral oil (safflower, canola)

1 lb. wings (about 16-20 pieces)

salt, to taste

pepper, to taste


1 tablespoon butter

1/4 cup Pasión red salsa

salt, to taste


Heat oven to 400. Pour oil into a large bowl and then add wings. Toss, sprinkling generously with salt and pepper. Place in a roasting pan or casserole dish large enough for wings to fit in one layer and roast 40 minutes. While wings are roasting, make sauce. Remove wings, place in another large bowl, add sauce and toss to coat evenly. Return to oven and roast another 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy.

For sauce: Melt butter in a warm saucepan and add salsa. Stir thoroughly to combine ingredients, taste and add pinch of salt, if desired. Reserve for tossing with wings.
